Our Team

As Mediascope’s founder, David Steinquist enjoys problem-solving with customers, and arriving at solutions to help them accomplish their goals. He enjoys the people he works with — both internally and customers — and the variety of the job.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, and raised throughout the Midwest, David spent 18 years in industrial distribution, working a variety of positions related to sales, warehouse and systems management, product procurement, and logistics, before beginning Mediascope.

David prefers to spend his free time outdoors doing such activities as hiking, camping, fishing or hunting. He is also an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoys exploring various parts of the United States. His dream for the future includes helping others develop in their areas of interest and giftedness. He enjoys mentoring young people in leadership skills, and he and his wife, Gayle, would like to someday devote their time to short term mission work in various areas.

Born in Green Bay, WI and raised in Fennimore, WI, Eric Swan is graduating from Winona State University in December of 2010 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

As a Sales Representative, Eric loves the opportunities at Mediascope and is excited about the potential of the company as he contributes to the sales and marketing departments. Eric is drawn to the quality of service Mediascope provides for its customers.

Recently married, Eric’s hobbies away from work include sports, music, traveling, grilling, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. One of Eric’s dreams for the future is to see ethics be the norm in the business world.

As one of Mediascope’s CSRs, Amanda Potter has been a member of the Mediascope team for over seven years. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Winona State University in Winona, MN.

Amanda’s favorite things about Mediascope are her coworkers and the diversity of services the company offers.

Kara Mayer

Kara Mayer was born and raised locally in St. Charles, MN. She has spent five years at Mediascope as Production Manager. Her favorite things about Mediascope include the variety of things she gets to work with and learn about. Kara gets satisfaction from understanding customers’ needs and fulfilling them with excellence.

Away from work, Kara enjoys camping, fishing, stock car racing, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and friends.

A dream Kara has for the future is for everyone to have affordable health care so that no one will live with the fear of not being able to support their family. She would also love to own and raise quarter horses.

A member of the team for over ten years, Mike Marthaler is the Fulfillment Product Specialist for Mediascope. After getting his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, Mike worked in the marketing departments of G. Heileman Brewing Company and First Federal Savings Bank before coming to Mediascope.

Born and raised in Beaver Dam, WI, Mike’s favorite part of Mediascope is the people he gets to work with every day – co-workers, customers, and vendors.

Away from work, Mike enjoys hanging out with his family, playing tennis, golf, running, and table tennis. His dream for the future is to be able to retire at the age of 62 and spend time volunteering in the community.

Stacy Zanzig

Stacy Zanzig has been a member of the Mediascope team for seven years and splits her time between Human Resources, Office Manger, and Customer Service at Mediascope.

Her favorite things at Mediascope are her co-workers, and the fact that she gets to work with so many great customers.

Stacy enjoys spending free time with her family, and biking, reading, gardening, cheering for her favorite football team, and working on a variety of craft projects.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Patti Reick is a natural fit for Mediascope. She joined the staff in 2006 when Mediascope acquired the bindery division of a local publishing company where she had been employed for twelve years.

Working in Printing, Marketing and Business Development, Patti loves the diversity Mediascope has to offer. Her thirty years of experience in print, marketing, desktop publishing, and bindery naturally draw her to those types of services, but she’s equally fascinated by continually learning new things in other areas as well.

Patti is a local girl and was born and raised in Onalaska, WI. After having lived on the East coast for a few years, she realized she is a Midwesterner at heart. In her spare time, she can be found gardening, reading a book, or hanging out by the water.
